Rose Mary Hallman of Jamaica, Queens, NY passed away peacefully on May 3, 2021.  She was 83 years old.  Rose was fond of reading the Bible and quoting scriptures.  She was dedicated to her beloved family.  Her favorite song was “That’s What Friends are For” by Gladys Knight.  Predeceased by her parents  Lillie Belle Barton-Hellman and Leon Hallman and children Clyde Hallman and Lillie Hallman; Rose is survived by her loving children Theresa Diane Hallman and Kristopher Lamar Brunson; Grandchildren: Danielle Hallman, Micheal Hallman, Marcell Hallman, Ayana Green, Judas Hallman, Jamarr Green, Andre Hallman, Latoya Hallman, Anthony Armstead, and James Armstead; Great-grandchildren- Jerome Hodges, Todd Jamel Hallman, Tyrone Hallman, Venus Hallman, Eunice Hodges, Iris Hallman, Elijah Hallman, Nyah Green, Jamarr Green Jr., Jalina Green, Payten Green, Jahari Hallman, Kali Hallman, Tyshawn Hallman, and Marlowe Kennedy Hallman; Great-great-grandchildren: Jerome Hodges Jr., Karmen Hodges, and Aiden Hodges; Brother: Daniel Hallman; Grand in-Laws: Petey Green, Yvonne Hallman, Melissa Hallman, Yatia Foster;  and a host of others, such as nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws and friends. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday May 19, 2021, 10am-1pm at the Bronson and Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown, NJ. The burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery, Linden, NJ.
