Monica E. (Krakovesky) Giacobbi

Monica E. Giacobbi of East Brunswick, NJ passed away October 5, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson – New Brunswick, NJ.  She was 84 years old.  She fought a brave battle against cancer for the last three years. Born in Scranton, PA Monica moved to East Brunswick, NJ in 1956 and remained a resident until her passing.  She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and a parishioner of St. Bartholomew’s RC Church, East Brunswick.  Monica loved music and going to 50’s and 60’s music concerts, enjoyed food - especially sweets and pizza, and enjoyed bowling.  She treasured every moment spent with her beloved family.

Predeceased by her husband Anthony, Jr. in 2007, parents Andrew and Amelia Krakovesky, and sister Marie Bonsall; Monica is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Lynn and John; sons Kenny and Tony, III; son and daughter-in-law Richard and Laura; and grandchildren Preston, Christopher, Isabella, and Noah.

Family and friends are very welcome to the celebration of the funeral mass on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 11:00am at St. Bartholomew’s Church, East Brunswick.  Interment will occur MONDAY 10/16/2023 at 10:30am at BG William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
