Obituary

Marsha D. Bartholomew of Milltown, NJ passed away on July 25, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center, New Brunswick, NJ.  She was 79 years old.  Born in Allentown, PA, Marsha’s family relocated to Milltown when she was 3 months old.  She worked as a teacher for a few years early in her career before being employed as a Library Assistant by Rutgers University until her retirement.  Marsha was a longtime Girl Scout and achieved the Curved Bar award which is amongst the highest awards that can be achieved by Scouts.

Predeceased by her parents Dr. John and Margaret (nee Brunner) Vandeputte, Martha is survived by her loving husband of 54 years Roger Bartholomew, sons Allan and Samuel Bartholomew, sister Faye (Bob) Anderson of DE, brother Dennis (Susan) Vandeputte of NY, sister-in-law Karen Bartholomew, a loving extended family, and many friends.

Final disposition is private under the direction of the Bronson and Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown.  The memorial service will be announced at a later date.
