Eileen George-Hupence, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022, while in Hospice Care at Complete
Care at Park Place, South Brunswick, N.J. She was 92. Born in Queens, N.Y. on April 24, 1929, to Frank and
Edna Bono. Mrs. Hupence was actively involved in multiple family owned, Dry Cleaning Businesses in
Franklin Township, N.J. between 1970 and 1987. She was active in the VFW in Deland, Florida for many
years. Mrs. Hupence was an avid animal lover and owned many dogs over the years. She had a special
fondness for Collies.
She married Alvin Henry George on May 31, 1947, in Jamaica, N.Y. They lived in Queens, N.Y. and
Hillsborough, N.J. before settling in Franklin, N.J. Alvin H. George passed away after a long battle with
cancer on January 27, 1982. In 1983, she reconnected with her high school sweetheart, Frank Philip
Hupence. They moved to West Palm Beach, Florida in 1988, and were married October 3,1990. In 1997,
they moved to Deland, Florida. Frank P. Hupence passed away on April 27, 2012. Mrs. Hupence returned
to South Brunswick, New Jersey in 2012.
Mrs. Hupence leaves behind a son, Edward A. George, daughter in law, Karen A. George: and grandson
Eric and his wife Christina, and granddaughter Kathryn. She was predeceased by her beloved
granddaughter Christine, in 1996.
The family would especially like to thank the staff at Complete Care at Park Place and Compasus Hospice
Care for their attentive and caring treatment. Upon her request, Mrs. Hupence will be cremated at Holy
Cross Cemetery, South Brunswick, N.J. under the care of Bronson and Guthlein Funeral Home, Milltown,
N.J. She will join her late husband, Frank P. Hupence and be buried at Arlington National Cemetery,
Washington, D.C.
