Margaret "Margi" J. (Kroffe) Treich

June 28, 1951 ~ September 17, 2019 (age 68)

Margaret (Margi) Kroffe-Treich of Linden formerly of Edison NJ beloved mother of Christina (Tina) Treich treasured grandmother of Brandi, Hunter Justin, Crocifisso (Cross) Carrion former wife of Richard Treich (deceased) sister of Richard Kroffe, Francis Martin (deceased) Rosan Cleaver, Evelyn Halisky.

She was aunt to many many nieces and nephews as well as to many great nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to three of these fantastic HERO nephews who without their help these services would not be possible: Richard Martin (who also spent countless  hours by her side in the hospital, Louis Martin and Daniel Cleaver.

Loving thanks going out to long time friend Gary LeVan for also helping cover cost for her funeral and by being by her side in her last minutes. He was as close to a family member as one can get, always there whenever needed.

Also special thank you to long time (back to her childhood long time) friend Debbie Pfeiffer Papierz for being there to answer her calls in the middle of the night and always there for help when needed. She not only got her to the hospital but sat with her day after day giving her support whenever possible even up to her last minutes.

Not to be forgotten thanks goes out to Lynn Cuball dedicated friend (now family member) who will never be forgotten for all the help she gave my mother, like bringing things to and from the hospital as well as kitty sitting my sister Shyann!

Margie was a former student of JP Stevens high school in Edison NJ as well as a dedicated coach to the Flaggets of NJ then eventually and taking ger love of twirling to the next level she decided to start a troop of her own called the Mariannetts. She very much loved preforming and even more instructing and leading her young twirling proteges. They developed a love for each other and formed a family of their own. Still to this day her Mariannetts say how they remember and love her and how she will be deeply missed.

Margi was also a devoted animal lover especially to her felines. She had cared for and loved many cats throughout the years now only leaving her treasured little Shyann (who will now be taking residence with her "sister" Tina and her children).

She was a devoted employee to Highway Towing for many years and when she wasn't hard at work as a dispatcher she was out enjoying her free time garage "sale"ing with her partner in crime treasure hunter and bff Debbie.

There will be no wake, Margaret will directly be laid to rest at Cloverleaf Cemetery on Wednesday, September 25 at 11:00am.  A service will also be held at Cloverleaf Cemetery on Saturday, September 28 at 10:00am.  There will be a small repast following each ceremony. A donation to the family to cover funeral costs would greatly be appreciated in lieu of flowers especially as there is no place for them to be displayed.
